Darlene Anita Lawson, 74, passed away peacefully from this life on Saturday, March 29, 2014. She was born in Beech Grove, IN to the late Florence and Stanley Lawson. Darlene was a 1957 graduate of Beech Grove High School where she was Valedictorian of her class, Butler University and the Indiana College of Business. In her hometown of Beech Grove, she was an active member of First Christian Church, BG Senior Citizens and the BG Historical Society. Darlene loved to travel, play cards, listen to gospel music, write heartfelt letters, work crossword puzzles and spend time with friends. Above all else, she loved the Lord and cherished her family who survive her: Marleah (Ed) Hollander and their children Ron Hollander and Danny (Nicole) Hollander, twins Aubrey and Abigail; LaDonna (Dave) Hall and their son, Ethan (Melissa) Hall, twins Levi and Lyla. She also leaves behind many friends who will miss her sweet smile and her kind and caring personality. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday April 3rd at 11:00 a.m. in Little & Sons Funeral Home Beech Grove Chapel . Visitation will held Wednesday April 2nd from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood, IN.
