Obituary
"CULLMAN, ALA. Jan. 20, 1912 -- A. W. JONES, an old and highly respected citizen of this city died at his home and was buried this morning. Mr. Jones formerly hailed from Georgia, where he was well known and a very influential citizen of the town of Griffin. The deceased was 82 years of age and leaves two sons, a daughter and a brother to mourn his loss.
He moved to Cullman five years ago with his son Frank Jones who died in this city three years ago. Since that time he has remained with his only daughter Miss Sarah and they have made their home in this city.
Mr. Jones was one of the early settlers of Atlanta, Ga."
