Bonnie Lee Stratton, 71, Longmont, died Thursday, November 6, 1997 at her home.
Bonnie was born February 10, 1926 in Beloit. She was the daughter of E. M. and Violet Chestnut. E. M. was Principal then Superintendent of Beloit Schools for many years.
She was a resident of Longmont since 1976 moving from Salina. She was a librarian assistant at the Longmont Public Library and a member of the Westview Presbyterian Church, where she was active in the Chapel Bells, Bell Choir and the Abigail Womens Mission Group. She and her husband were involved with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Max.
Survivors include two sons, Greg, Santa Fe, N.M.; and Joe, Salina; two daughters, Rebecca Sharp, Scottsdale, Ariz.; and Patricia Baertsch, Glenwood Springs; and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday, November 10, at Westview Presbyterian Church, with Reverend Bruce McQueen Officiating.
The body was cremated. Interment was a private family service on November 27, at Glasco.
Howe Mortuary, Longmont, Colo., was in charge of the arrangements.
