Gwendolyn M. Ware, 89, passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2015 at her residence. She was born on March 13, 1926 to her parents, the late Clifton McAlpin and Seba (Sullivan) McAlpin.

She is survived by her sons, David Ware (Denise), Paul Ware (Charlotte) one daughter, Sheila Ware; seven grandchildren, David Ware, John Ware, Zachary Ware, Jacob Ware, Micah Windham, Anne Marie Holland, Lindsey Windham and eight great grandchildren.

Ms. Ware was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Judean Ware; four brothers and one sister.

Visitation was Tuesday, September 1, at Tutor Funeral Home in Magee from 5-8 p.m. Services were scheduled for Wednesday, September 2, at Concord Baptist Church in Smith County with an hour of visitation before the service beginning at 11 a.m. Interment followed in the church cemetery. Bro. Will McNeese and Bro. James Fortenberry officiated. Arrangements were entrusted to Tutor Funeral Home.
