He worked as an emergency maintenance employee for Tenaris.
He was a member of Finley Baptist Church and an avid sportsman and hunter.
Andrew had an applied science degree in electronics from R.E.T.S. in Louisville, KY.
He was a member of the Boy Scouts and Order of the Arrow.
Survivors include his loving wife of 13 years, Gena Abbott of Dyersburg; his mother, Jennie Sue Wadley of Dyersburg; and his brother, Cayce T. Abbott and friend, Leigh Ann Burris, both of Dyersburg.
He was preceded in death by his father, Peter M. Abbott; and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. H.L. Fowlkes and Mr. and Mrs. C.M. Abbott.
Pallbearers will be Roger Little, John Lee, Chucky Dean, Johnny Butler, John Cloar and Mike Boals.
Honorary pallbearers will be David Quick, Mike Putman and Allen Putman.
