Arthur Clay Hudnall was killed when the train he was on struck a cow on the tracks and overturned the train car. It is not known whether he jumped from the car or was thrown. When he fell from the train, he landed in the middle of the track and the 3 car train ran over him. (Taken from the Council Bluffs Nonpariel, Dec 2, 1902 newspaper in Council Bluffs, Iowa)
