When Arthur Clay Hudnall died on Dec. 1, 1902, Maude was pregnant with twins, Claude Clay Hudnall & Arthur Cliff Hudnall. They were born on 18 May 1903. Maude married Hemmerley E. Wailes in 1903.

The picture above appears to been taken at the time of their wedding in June 1902.

Arthur Clay Hudnall was killed when the train he was on struck a cow on the tracks and overturned the train car. It is not known whether he jumped from the car or was thrown.
