Mr. Terry joined the U.S. Navy in 1938 and served in WWII in the Pacific. In 1947 he married Audrey June Harrison of Moosic, PA. He retired as an officer in the Navy in 1959 and graduated number one in his classes with a B.A. in finance and economics from East Texas State University in 1961 and an MBA in hospital administration from George Washington University in 1964. Mr. Terry served as an administrator of the Greater Baltimore Medical Center and then served as CEO of Capital Hill Hospital in Washington, D.C. prior to his retirement. In addition, he held leadership posts in many associations and served on the board of directors of various insurance companies.
