Carra Burris White, 83, of Madisonville, died Tuesday, Nov. 12, at Morning View Transitional Care in Maryville.
Mrs. White was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth "Jack" White; a daughter, Pat Zemaitis; her parents, Walter and Lola Burris; and a sister, Ruth Burris.
Mrs. White is survived by a daughter, Karen (Ron) Huff of Madisonville and Nashville; a granddaughter, Tracy (Ted) Webb of Middle Tennessee; a step-granddaughter, Amy McCreight, of Murfreesboro; a sister-in-law, Ruby Forshee, of Greenback; and special friends and caregivers, Blanche Duggan and Tia Sharp.
Past and present staff at Morning View are praised for their wonderful care for Mrs. White.
The funeral was held Tuesday, Nov. 13, at Biereley-Hale Funeral Home Chapel in Madisonville with Chaplain Jerry Scott and the Rev. R.C. Leming officiating. Interment was in the Ebenezer (Ballplay) Cemetery with the Rev. Bill White officiating.
