He retired from Firestone Tire & Rubber Co. with 38 years service, and was a member of Temple Baptist Church. Guy is survived by wife, L. Irene... five grandchildren; sister and brother, Ella Cook and James A. of Oak Hill, W. Va.; sisters, Patricia Alderson of Akron, Berniece Elder of Edwardsburg, Mich, and Joann Ferry of San Antonio, Texas. The family will receive friends TODAY from 7:30 to 9 p.m. at Hecker Funeral Home in Uniontown, where services will be held Monday at 2 p.m., Revs. Jack Taylor and Glenn Rogers officiating. Burial at East Liberty Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Akron General Medical Center, Oncology Department."
