Mrs. Fletcher was born on June 29th, 1943 in Henry County, Virginia to the late Emmett Padgett and Beatrice Adams Padgett.
In addition to her parents Mrs. Fletcher was preceded in death by a son Daryl Fletcher and four sisters Gladys Creed, Avis Lewis, Rachel Vernon, and Lucy Tuttle.
Those left to cherish her memory are three brothers James Padgett of Martinsville, VA, George (Georgie) Padgett of Patrick Springs, VA, and Ricky (Libby) Padgett also of Patrick Springs, VA; four sisters Erma Sides of Boonville, Lavern (Dallas) Cooke of Winston Salem, Opal Patterson of Patrick Springs VA, and Mary (John) Spillman of East Bend; and several special nieces and nephews.
A funeral service for Mrs. Fletcher will be conducted on Tuesday April 1st, 2014 at 1pm at the Huff Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Forsyth Memorial Park.
