James Oliver Dye, former Bergholz and Amsterdam merchant, died Friday afternoon from heart disease. He is survived by two sons, Harry J. and Russell of Canton: a daughter, Mrs. Victor Steward of Mingo Junction, five brothers and three sisters. Mr. Dye died while on a fishing trip near Youngstown. He was born May 2, 1876, in Monroe County.
