The former Irene Stephens was born on November 27, 1927 in Redfield, South Dakota the daughter of Mrs Floyd Stephens of Scranton, PA and the late Mr Stephens. She was married on August 8, 1942 in Minneapolis to Warren Boone, he survives.
She was employed by Production Credit Association for 10 years and with her husband owned and operated Tiffany's Bakeries in Fond du Lac and Green Bay. She was a member of the Ladies Elks Lodge 27.
Survivors besides her mother and husband include one daughter Mrs David Winther of Wausau; one son Stephen of Oakfield; one brother Dr. John Stephens of Scranton, PA; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Friday March 2, 1979 at the Uecker - Witt Funeral Home in Fond du Lac. The Rev. Carl Voss of St Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Green Bay officiated and burial was in Calvary Cemetery in Oshkosh. A visitation was held on Thursday evening at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home.
