Death of second husband 07 March not 06 March. Marriage date in obit to Habkirk is incorrect. Correct date 21 Dec 1935.

ALLEN, Mildred Elizabeth - Of Alma, formerly of Clio, age 83 died Tuesday, February 10, 1998 at Gratiot Community Hospital. Funeral services will be held 2PM Friday February 13, 1998 at the Clio Chapel of Whipple Funeral Homes, Rev. Harold Prong officiating with burial in Flint Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 11AM until time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to Michigan Masonic Home of Alma. Mildred was born May 25, 1914 in Clio, MI the daughter of Rolland and Edna A. (Thompson) Covert. She had resided in the Clio area all of her life until moving to Alma in 1989. Mildred married Gordon E. Habkirk in 1936 in Detroit. He preceded her in death March 4, 1954. She then married Oscar O. Allen in 1959. He preceded her in death March 6, 1969. She was employed with Vienna Township as Clerk for 10 years. Mildred was a member of the Pine Run Church of Christ and Life member of Eastern Star. Surviving are: 3 sons, William and wife Rosalie Habkirk of Santa Rosa, CA, Patrick Habkirk of Wichita, KS, Michael Habkirk of Saginaw; 6 grandchildren, Denise and husband Edward Hinkson of Sacramento, CA, Debbie Arsaga of Santa Rosa, CA, Steve and wife Susie Habkirk of Santa Rosa, CA, James and wife Vanessa Habkirk of Portland, OR, Duane and David Habkirk of Santa Rosa, CA; 4 great-grandchildren; brother, John and wife Phyllis Covert of Ludington. Mildred was also preceded in death by her parents; sister, Jean Kersey and brothers, Ralph and Robert Covert.
