Roy, 86, born to to Milton and Grace Johnson Kempthorne, was a graduate of Ohio State University. He married Nancy Bowers on June 21, 1958 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Roy was an accountant for the government and retired as an auditor for Los Angeles County. He enjoyed working with numbers; loved health research and being with his family. Surviving besides his wife: daughter Susan (Anthony) Schilling of Brighton; son Roy (Barb) Kempthorne, Jr. of Keller, TX; and five grandchildren. Preceding were both parents and brothers John and Walter. Funeral Services held June 27 at Tabor-Rice Funeral Home. Tabor-Rice Funeral Home handled arrangements and obituary.
