Oakdale Leader, The (CA) - Tuesday, February 7, 2012
Syble Audrey (Brimm) Sill, 92, of Oakdale died Wednesday, Feb. 1.
She worked at Hunt Wesson Cannery and retired after 30 years. Prior to this, she also worked in the cafeteria for the Oakdale school district at the Oakdale Union Grammar School, which is now Magnolia Elementary, for a number of years. Mrs. Sill enjoyed camping, traveling, quilting with church members and serving God. Her greatest past time was spending time with her friends and family, especially the children. She had a natural glow about her that attracted many friends. She touched the hearts and lives of many. She was will be missed.
The family thanks the Hospice House for making her last days as peaceful and comfortable as possible, and also to the Seventh Day Adventist Church for their preparation for the church services and the meal.
She is survived by her sons, Glenn Sill and Kenneth Sill; brother, Carl (Helen) Brimm; eight grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ernest Ray 'Buster' Sill; sons, Darrell Sill and Roger Sill; granddaughter, Erricka Verna Sill; four brothers; and one sister.
