Richard is survived by his wife, Leslie Kress; two sons Randy Kress and Brent Kress; two daughters Christy Plummer and Samantha Kress; two brothers, Leonard Kress and Ron Kress and 12 grandchildren.
Service will be held at National cemetery in Roseburg, Oregon on Monday, March 31, at 11 a.m. held by Pearsons Funeral Home.
