DEWAYNE EDWARD HARRIS
Age 75, of Moreno Valley, California, passed away on Sunday, March 23, 2014, at his home with his family at his side. He was born Wednesday, September 21, 1938 in Redlands, California, he was the son of Harold Harris and Mary ( Hawkins) Harris. He served as a SP4 in the Army from 1961 until 1963. DeWayne liked boating, camping, golfing and Nascar racing. His family remembers him as someone who could appreciate a good joke! He was a long time member of the Old Farts Racing Team Car Club. He is survived by his loving wife Sharon; sons, Rick Harris and Glenn Harris; daughter, Victoria DiRenza; 10 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by daughter, Michelle G. Gervasi. A Funeral service will be at 10:45 AM on Friday, April 4, 2014 at Riverside National Cemetery located at 22495 Van Buren Boulevard, Riverside, California 92518. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Thursday, April 3, 2014, at Miller-Jones Moreno Valley, 23618 Sunnymead Bl., Moreno Valley, California.
