Amber Ann Cooper Robinson, 75, passed away December 11, 2005, in Dallas, Texas, of an extended illness. She was born February 15, 1930, in Shattuck, Oklahoma to Hal Cooper and Fern Mathews Cooper who preceded her in death.

Raised on the family ranch near Ft. Supply, Oklahoma, she attended local schools until high school where she attended Mt. Saint Carmel in Wichita, Kansas, before graduating from Holland Hall School in Tulsa. She attended Stephens College in Missouri and Oklahoma State University. Amber enjoyed politics, cooking and her family. Her early career included working for the Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce and raising money for the founding of the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum.

She was a "Bellmon Belle during the first campaign of former Governor Henry Bellmon and served on his gubernatorial staff. In 1979, Amber and her daughter founded Cooking With Amber, a cooking school, retail boutique and catering business in Dallas. In 1986, she shifted her focus to manufacturing and marketing "Cooking with Amber's Roasted Seasoned Pecans which were sold worldwide.

Amber was a charter member of Les Dames D'Escoffier in Dallas. She also wrote cooking articles for local publications. Amber was happiest when entertaining friends and family. She is survived by her daughter Kelly Webb Robinson Caccia and her husband Tom of Denver, Colorado, her son Cooper Brett Robinson and his wife Karma of Oklahoma City, and grandchildren Jake and Caroline Caccia and Claire and Natalie Robinson.

Services will be Monday, December 19th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter Catholic Church, 2020 Oklahoma Avenue in Woodward, Oklahoma. Burial at Elmwood Cemetery will immediately follow the service. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the Plains Indians & Pioneers Museum in Woodward.
