Our Dad was an amazing person and left an indelible mark on all our lives. He is greatly loved and will be terribly missed. We were incredibly fortunate to have him as a father. Prior to retiring from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), he spent nine years working with development of the Concorde airplane and was the first American to pilot it. Eugene was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Ardmore and of the Military Officers Association of America. His hobbies were camping, cabinet making, wood working, traveling, eating (especially ice cream and M&M's) and numerous family activities. He loved animals, especially horses and birds. He was always ready to go for work or play. He had a rich and abundant life and embraced life to the fullest.
