Kay Ellen Shively, 56, Marion, died at 1:30 a.m., Thursday, March 27, 2014 in her residence. She was born in Marion, Indiana to Verlin and Norma (Anderson) Strickland. Kay was a 1975 graduate of Marion High School.
She previously worked at Miller's Merry Manor as a CNA and formerly operated Kay's Ceramics in Gas City. Kay was a Candy Striper at Marion General Hospital while in high school. She enjoyed antiquing, rummaging and ceramics. She liked going to Shipshewana and most recently enjoyed her trip to San Francisco.
She was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Paul & Ruth Strickland; maternal grandmother, Flossie Anderson.
