Luveta McRoberts Conn, age 95, a native of Rowan County, passed away Monday, March 24, 2014, at Asela's Care Home in Tempe, Arizona.

Born February 1, 1919, in Smile, Kentucky, Luveta was a daughter of the late Taylor and Mary Kiser McRoberts. She was preceded in death by her husband, Choncie Conn in 1977; a son, Jake Conn; and a daughter, Virginia Conn.

Mrs. Conn is survived by one daughter, Marlene Bogard of Mesa, Arizona; one son, Norman Conn of Fayetteville, Ohio; six granddaughters; eight great grandchildren; and one great-great granddaughter.

Other survivors include one brother, Leo McRoberts of Morehead, and one sister, Oleta Horne of San Antonio, Texas.

Mrs. Conn, a longtime resident of Beavercreek, Ohio, was a homemaker and for a number of years an employee of the Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. She was a member of the Knollwood Church of Christ.

Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday, April 4, 2014, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. James DeAtley officiating. Burial will follow in Purvis Cemetery.

Visitation is 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Thursday, April 3, 2014, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead.
