She married Gerald Peters on Jan 20, 1973 in Columbus, Indiana.
Carol started working at Lear-Siegler, followed by Ray's Cleaners and most recently Byrd's Cleaners in Columbus. Carol was a very creative person who enjoyed scrapbooking and painting. She also enjoyed the outdoors including horseback riding with her daughter, gardening, and doing farm chores alongside Gerald and their son before becoming ill.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
The Rev. Mark Wooten will conduct a funeral service at 1 p.m. Thursday at Burkholder Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow the service at Riverview Cemetery, Seymour.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from noon until time of service Thursday at the funeral home.
