Donna Marie Lester, 66, of Salt Road, Groton, died January 6, 2005 at the Lakeside Nursing Home after an extended illness.
Born February 24, 1938 in North Lansing, she was the daughter of the late Wilbur and Frances Chaffee Brotherton.She had worked at The Ithaca Gun, operated the Lester Firewood Business in Groton for several years and worked for Tompkins County Home Health Care and had been a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Groton.
She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Self of Newfield; son Duane Hollenbeck of Dryden; brothers, Charles Brotherton of Sarasota, Fla, Herbert Brotherton of Lansing, and Gerald Brotherton of San Antonio, Tx.∼Parents:

Donna was married twice and had three children.
Her ashes were buried at the foot of her mother grave in Willow Glen Cemetery.
