It reported that "Earl Eugene Hunter, 92, passed away Friday, Feb. 4, 2005, in Fort Worth."

"Earl Eugene Hunter was born Nov. 28, 1912. He grew up in the Poly area of Fort Worth, with his seven brothers and sisters. Their family exemplified the love of God and family.

He graduated from Poly High School and attended Arlington State. He worked for Cameron and Co. in Waco for many years. When he returned to Fort Worth, he went into business for himself for 45 years.

He was a member of the Moslah Shriners for 50 years and was an active member of Meadowbrook United Methodist Church, where he served in many leadership roles over the years. Mr. Hunter enjoyed the Upper Room Class.

Mr. Hunter was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He will fondly be remembered as a kind, loving gentleman.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred, to whom he was married for 58 years."

Survivors: 2 daughters; 5 grandsons; a granddaughter; and 5 great-grandchildren.
