Son of Frank David Wallace & Marjorie Griggs Wallace.

Robert served as a Private First Class, 501st Parachute Infantry, 101st Airborne Division, U.S. Army during World War II.

He resided in Grafton County, New Hampshire prior to the war.

He enlisted in the Army on November 17, 1942 in Manchester, New Hampshire. He was noted, at the time of his enlistment, as being employed in a machine shop and also as Single, without dependents.

Robert was "Killed In Action" in France during the war and was awarded the Purple Heart.
