Roy Alvin Logan, 84, of Hewitt, died on Friday, March 28, 2014, at his home, surrounded by his loving wife and children. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m., Sunday, March 30, in Flint Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday, March 29, at Scott's Funeral Home in Gatesville.
Roy Alvin was born in Pidcoke, Texas, to the late Lee Roy and Annie Logan.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Edna (Beasley) Logan; sons, Michael Logan and his wife, Yealonda, of Goldsmith, Texas, and, Jeff Logan, of McGregor; daughters, Dianne Holiday and her husband, Kent, of Lees Summit, Missouri, and Lisa Lucas, and her husband, Jim, of Greenwood, Texas; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Jo Ann Paul and Faye Jean Crossen; and many other relatives and friends.
