Bobbie Jean Mumford Daniels FLORENCE - Funeral service for Mrs. Bobbie Jean Mumford Daniels will be conducted 3:00 PM Sunday, March 30, 2014 at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church with burial to follow in North View Cemetery. She died on Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at her residence after an extended illness. Bobbie was born in Florence County on January 7, 1945 to Alford and Evelyn Merritts Mumford. She attended the public schools of Florence County and was formerly employed with McLeod Regional Medical Center. Bobbie was a member of Mount Pisgah Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward "Billy" Daniels; a daughter, Janice R. Daniels; and four brothers, Alford "Boot", Henry, Herbert "Scoop", and Elliott Mumford. Survivors are: one son, Edward Ray Daniels; four daughters, Regenia Daniels, Cathy Daniels, Lathronia "Tessa" Daniels, and Dr. Jacquitta "KaTrina" Daniels; also raised by her, Jasmine, Megan, and Janice Daniels; 14 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; one sister, Carolyn Mumford; also raised as siblings, Larry Rouse and Linda (Andrew) Singleton; six sisters-in-law; two special cousins, James "Pop" Merritts and Sarah Johnson; friend, Sharon Washington; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Viewing will be from 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM today at the funeral home. The family is receiving friends at the home, 128 Westford Road, Florence
