Judge Watts was married in June, 1869, to Miss Mary Victery, daughter of John Victery, of Polk county, Texas. Her father, a farmer by occupation, has been dead for a number of years. Mrs. Watts died October 7, 1890, aged forty years. She was an Episcopalian and a most estimable woman, loved by all who knew her. She left four children, viz: Ella, a former student of Dr. Wheat's school, Winchester, Virginia; Samuel, a stenographer and typist in his father's office, reading law at intervals; and Arthur and Rosa, attending school.
