Pocahontas- Rosemary Cecilia Baltz passed away Friday, March 28, 2014 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born October 29, 1928 to A. J. Sr and Anna Matczak Baltz. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Paul Francis and a sister Dolores Ann Baltz.

She is survived by two brothers, A. J. Baltz Jr. ( Patsy) and Bernard A. Baltz (Margaret) of Pocahontas, and two sisters, Jane Frances Baltz of the home and Pauline Claire marsh (Desmond) of Springfield, Missouri, and sister-in-law Betty Baltz of Pocahontas. Rosemary also leaves twenty-two loving nieces and nephews, fifty-two great nieces and nephews and seven great great nieces and nephews.

After receiving her Bachelor of Science degree from Immaculata University, Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania she returned home and joined her father in the family business, Baltz Equipment Company. Upon his retirement, Rosemary became president of the company and managed it until her retirement.

Rosemary was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church and actively participated in many of its ministries. She and Joan Farley were instrumental in bringing the Little Rock Scripture Study to St. Paul's Parish.

Rosemary was active in community affairs throughout life, including the Chamber of Commerce where she served in several positions of the board, including president. She was one of the first female members of the Pocahontas Rotary Club, was an active member of P.E.O. Chapter BS and served on the advisory board of St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center for many years.

Funeral Arrangements- Visitation 5:00-7:00 P.M. Sunday, March 30, 2014 at McNabb Funeral Home. Rosary to follow at 7:00 P.M.

Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 A.M. Monday, March 31, 2014 at St. Paul's the Apostle Catholic Church.

Interment at St. Paul Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Donald Baltz, Peter Baltz, Joe Baltz, Paul Baltz, Greg Baltz, Chris Marsh.
