Nancy Ellen (Hoover) Raber, of Bedford, daughter of the late Donald Wilmont Hoover and Virginia Washington (Pye), died on Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2009, after a brief hospitalization.
She was the wife of Harry E. Raber of Bedford.
Mother of Wendy E. Morris and her husband, George, of Wilmington, Kurt E. Raber and his wife, Lori, of Falmouth, and Christopher W. Raber and his wife, Maria, of Mashpee.
She is survived by her brother, Donald W Hoover of Montgomery, Texas.
Also survived by her eight grandchildren, Taylor Raber, Andrew Morris, Amelia Morris, Rebekah Raber, Joshua Raber, Jeremy Raber, Alan Morris, and Caroline Raber.
She graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University and taught school in New Jersey and Ohio. Nancy and her family were longtime residents of Guilford, Conn., and Wilbraham, before relocating to Bedford.
