Frances "Willie" (Brady) Griffith was born on August 5, 1909 in Russellville,
Kentucky, the daughter of Jacob Brady and Nancy (Bilyeu) Brady.

She was married to Riley Griffith.

Willie worked 25 years at Kroger in the Meat Department, and she was the first
female member of the Meat Cutter's Union. She was very active in the community,
with memberships at the Stewart County Senior Citizen Center, Stewart County
Friends of the Public Library, Stewart County Historical Society, Tennessee Farm
Bureau, AARP since 1981, and a founding 'father' of Saint Francis of Assisi
Catholic Church.

A resident of Bumpus Mills, Willie was 107 years old when she passed away at
home on November 4, 2016.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; daughter Felicia Gillman;
brothers Gordon Brady and Jake Brady; sisters Louise Wood, Irene Fuqua and
Elizabeth White; and sons-in-law Ed Miller, Bill Montgomery, Tommy Heath, Bill
Billman and Joe Gillman. Survivors included a married son; four daughters and a
son-in-law; a brother; 148 grandchildren, great-grandchildren,
2nd-great-grandchildren and 3rd-great-grandchildren.

A Funeral Mass was held at Saint Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, and burial
was in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
