LAKELAND - Wanda "Sunshine" McCoy, 64 of Lakeland. She was born in Ludowici, Georgia on February 8, 1950. Wanda passed away on Saturday, March 8th, 2014 at her daughters home surrounded by her loving family and friends from COPD.
She was a homemaker, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her father Ernest Barrow, sister Ernestine Dunk, daughter Sherry Robinson and brother-in-law Henry McCoy.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years Charles "Buford" McCoy, Sr., Her Son, Charles Buford McCoy, Jr., Her Daughter, Kandyce (Andrew) Silas. Her mother Maxine Barrow of Lakeland, Florida. Her brothers Edsil (Joann) Barrow of Springfield, Georgia and Reggie Barrow of Glennville, Georgia. She was also survived by her mother-in-law Lucille Dekel of Lakeland. Her brother-in-laws Kenneth (Betty) McCoy of San Diego, California; Billy (Barbra) McCoy of Lakeland; and David (Tracy) McCoy of Lakeland. Wanda had 6 grandchildren, 4 great, grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
