Roger Graves, April 1, 1943 - Dec 27, 2010, resident of Cupertino, long time PGA golf pro, passed away at age 67 after another stroke. He leaves behind wife Margaret, sons Glen and Ross, and sister Nancy Allen (Iowa). His brother Charles passed away in 2008, and his brother Rodney Cyrus on Dec. 30. Roger was born in Harlan, Iowa, came to Calif. in 1958, and graduated from Escondido High. He loved is family, friends, golf and fishing. He worked as a golf professional in San Diego county, Wyoming, and then at Palo Alto Muni., Crystal Springs and Vista Oaks. He loved teaching golf and being able to help golfers enrich their enjoyment of the game. Contributions in his name may be made to Project 90 (online or in San Mateo). A memorial service will be held on Jan. 15, at 2:00 pm, at the Los Gatos Methodist Church.
