Services for Ollie (Sam) Warren, 86, of 128 Pershing, were conducted at 2:30 p.m.Tuesday, June 26, in the Gipson Funeral Home chapel with Rev. A. B. McBride officiating and burial in Hillcrest Cemetery.
Mrs. Warren, who was the widow of the late R. D. (Duncan) Warren, died Sunday, June 24, in a Lufkin hospital.
Mrs. Warren was born in Center and had lived in Lufkin most of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church.
Survivors: brothers-in-law, Henry Kenning, Jimmy P. Parker and Lewis Foy.
Pallbearers: Doug Foster, Gary Foster, Charlie Foster, Joe Parker, Elton Musick and Clay Harris.
Honorary pallbearers: R. A. (Sally) Hunter and Lyle Peden.
