"Danny" was the third child of William Allen O'Neal and Hazel Irene Brady. The family lived in Grafton, Jersey County, Illinois.

Danny died 29 days after his 3rd birthday. His death came at 9:10 a.m. on 19 Sep 1944.

He was survived by his mother and father; 2 brothers; and 1 sister. A brother and 2 more sisters were born after Danny's death.

Visitation was held at Jacoby Funeral Home on 20 Sep 1944. Funeral services were conducted there at 9 a.m. the following morning.
