Edna May Lewis Wiley, widow of Robert Lewis Wiley, Jr., passed away on Thursday, March 27, 2014, at the hospital in Richmond. She was born on May 5, 1923, in Birkenhead, England to the late Sarah and Frederick Lewis, Sr. She served in the English military during World War II and came to the United States after marriage to Robert who served in the U. S. Army. They resided in Switzer in the early years following their return to the United States. They later moved a few miles away to Stamping Ground, and then to Lexington. She then lived a few years in Indiana. At her death she lived with her daughter in Richmond.

She is survived by her sons, Robert (Theresa) Wiley of Sadieville, Frederick (Peggy) Wiley of Frankfort, Kenneth Wiley of Lexington and David Wiley of Lawrenceburg; her daughters, Sarah Margaret Wiley Holloway of Richmond and Lillian May Wiley Brezeal of Ravenna, her daughter-in-law, Linda Wiley of Versailles; her sister Mary Lewis Parker of Frankfort; 16 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceeded in death by her brothers, Frederick Lewis and Ronnie Lewis;David Lewis, and one sister Margaret Lewis, her son, Allen Wiley.

She raised dogs and loved making dolls and other crafts.

Services will be held on Thursday, April 3, at 6:30 p.m. at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Road, with Rev. Jay Stratton officiating. Visitation will be on Wednesday, April 2, from 6:00 - 8:00 at the funeral home.
