Bobby was a member of the McSherrystown Fish and Game, McSherrystown Moose #720 as well as the New Oxford Social Club. He enjoyed nature, and was an avid hunter and Nascar fan. Bobby also enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. In addition to his wife and parents, Bobby is survived by two daughters, Caela A. Kirk, Alexis N. Kirk; one son, Brett S. Kirk all of Hanover; two brothers, Jamie Kirk of Hanover, Joshua Topper of East Berlin; one sister, Melissa L. Kirk of East Berlin; maternal grandparents, Sterling Stambaugh of Gettysburg and Georgia Stambaugh of Rose Hill, Va.
A service to celebrate and remember Bobby's life will be held 7 p.m. Thursday at the Kenworthy Funeral Home, Inc., 269 Frederick St., Hanover, with Rev. Tina Minnich officiating.
Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. A time to view and share memories with the family will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Bobby may be made to PNC Bank, Children of Bobby E. Kirk, Jr. Memorial Fund.
