Marlene was born May 13, 1941 in Hastings, Minnesota to Clarence and Marie (Lucking) Redding. She married Wilbur "Bill" Morrison on August 23, 1969 at St. Thomas Catholic Church in St. Paul Park, Minnesota.
Marlene was employed for more than 30 years at the Gillette company in production. Though she was known for her independence, she was always willing to help out. She was frugal but enjoyed dining out occasionally. Marlene excelled at hosting a garage sale, she enjoyed gardening and home cooking but especially enjoyed spending time with family.
Marlene is preceded in death by her parents; Clarence and Marie, her beloved husband; Bill, her twin brother; Marvin and her brother; Bernard, and an infant sister; Marie. She will be dearly missed by her sister, sister-in-law, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, a great- great nephew and a great- great niece along with other relatives and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for Saturday, March 29, 2014 at 11:00am (10-11 visitation) at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Spooner, Wisconsin with Father Ed Anderson as celebrant. Pallbearers will be Nathan Redding, Bob Redding, Tim Redding, Jim Redding, Jeff Redding, Spencer Redding and Tanner Redding. Interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery in Spooner.
