Leon Nichols, age 82 of Fayette, passed away March 27, 2014. Mr. Nichols was preceded in death by his wife, Bobby Nichols; sister, Syble Higgins; and brother, Ray Freeman. He is survived by his daughters, Janet Patterson of B'ham, AL and Michelle Roberson of Carbon Hill, AL; son, Mardy Nichols of B'ham, AL; sisters, Louise Blanton, Vounzell Barham, Glendolia Gaston and Dana Lawson; brother, Wendell Nichols; 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be on Saturday, March 29, 2014, 1PM at Nelson Funeral Home Chapel, Fayette, AL. Burial in Fayette Memorial Gardens. Bro. Scott Davis officiating.
