Dale married Wilma R. Tangeman on July 12, 1941, in rural Newton. They were married for 64 years until her death in 2004.
Dale was a farmer in rural Newton and was a member of Highland Trinity United Church of Christ. He lived at his residence until the last eight years, when he moved to Schowalter Villa in Hesston.
Dale is survived by his sons: Daniel and Karen White, James and Rebecca White; a daughter, Carolea and Kenneth Hower; grandchildren, Tami and Jim Studer, Todd White, Kevin Hower; step grandchildren, Greg and Cheryl Mason, Joy and Elan Buller; great-grandchildren, Keara Studer, Taryn Studer; and step great-grandchild, Jillian Ross-Mason.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma White; parents, Elmer and Sadie White; and five brothers and five sisters.
