She was born in Homerville, Georgia. She was a member of New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church and the Mother of the Church.
She is survived by her daughters: Lucille Mann and Rebecca Plair, both of Ocala, Florida; 14 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren; 56 great-great grandchildren; five great-great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
