ANDERSON, Rose C. (Age 91) Passed away early Friday morning at the Guardian Angel Homes in Liberty Lake, WA. Rose was born on April 12, 1922 at Clarkston, WA to John and Emma Nelson. She attended school in Garfield, WA. She married Harold E. Anderson on October 14, 1939 at Garfield, WA and the couple made their home near Oakesdale, WA where they farmed. Rose was a devoted wife and homemaker. She was a dedicated partner with her husband in the operation of the family farm. She took great joy in her family and was delighted with the addition of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. After retirement, Rose and Harold moved to Garfield in 1997. Harold died in 1999. Rose continued to live at Garfield, later moving into Ladow Court Assisted Living. She moved to Guardian Angel Homes in Liberty Lake, WA in June of 2013. She was a member of the Garfield Christian Church. She enjoyed gardening, and cared for the flower beds at the Christian Church at Garfield. Survivors include two sons, H. Donald Anderson (Carolyn) Oakesdale, WA, A. Robert Anderson (Kathryn) Oakesdale, WA, one brother, Richard Nelson, Garfield, WA, one sister, Ruby Perkins, Garfield, WA. Rose is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one brother Glen Nelson and two sisters, Myrtle Lauer and Pearl Ablutz. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at the Garfield Christian Fellowship, Garfield, WA with Pastor Dean Walker officiating. Burial will precede the service at 1:00 P.M. at the Garfield Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the Garfield Christian Fellowship or to the Union Gospel Mission, 1224 E. Trent Ave., Spokane, WA, 99220. Kramer Funeral Home, Palouse, WA is handling the arrangements.
