Cora L. Allen, 72, of Fort Pierce, FL died Tuesday March 18, 2014 at Indian River Medical Center, Vero Beach.
She was born on November 7, 1941 in Madison, FL and has been a resident of Saint Lucie County for over fifty years.
Cora was a member of Greater Mount Pleasant Primitive Baptist Church where she was a former member of the choir.
Survivors include her sons, Jerome Hodges Sr. and Stanley Beale of Fort Pierce, FL; brothers, Peter Haynes of Fort Pierce, FL; Raymond Haynes of Lake Placid, FL; Willie Haynes of Fort Pierce, FL; Ernest Haynes of Sebring, FL; Lewis Rose of Maryland; sisters, Rosa L. Haynes Daniels, Bertha McCray of Fort Pierce, FL; Bernadine Watson of Lake Placid, FL; four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Louisa Bramon and Peter Haynes.
Visitation will be held 3 to 7PM Friday March 28, 2014 at Stone Brothers Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 11AM Saturday March 29, 2014 at Greater Mount Pleasant Primitive Baptist Church, Fort Pierce. Burial will follow at Riverview Memorial Park.
