Herbert Hallman Howell passed away on March 25, 2014. He was born on January 20, 1930 to Alvin and Paralee Howell and he was raised in Ben Wheeler and Canton. Herbert taught school in Canton and then moved to Dallas where he worked at the Dallas Teachers Credit Union until 1993. Herbert is survived by his wife of 58 years, Jane; their two daughters and their husbands, Sandra and Roger Hayes and Jennie and Frank Lewis, all of Richardson; five grandchildren: Amanda and John Hayes and James, Lindsey and Matthew Lewis; his brother and his wife, Sid and Vicki Howell of Canton; sister, Pat Sneed of Pearland; nieces and nephews: Sheridan Henley of Pearland, Josh Sneed of Wills Point, Chris Howell of Edgewood, and Megan Reading of New York; and many other family members and friends. Visitation will be Friday 6-9 pm at Eubank Funeral Home with Chapel Services at 11 am Saturday.
