Teresa Lynn Marshall, 53, of Mediapolis, IA, died at 10:40 a.m. on March 25, 2014 at her home with her husband and children by her side.
Born on March 15, 1961, Teresa was the daughter of Lyle and Louise Shafer. On June 21, 1980 she married Larry Marshall.
Teresa graduated from Mediapolis High School in 1979. She was of the Christian faith and loved attending church, going on vacation with family, working on her home and in her garden and loved playing with her dog Aeva. She wanted nothing more in life than to get married and have children. She loved working with the kids at Mediapolis Elementary as a teacher's aide, and the friendships she created while working at UPS.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Daniel Marshall and Marcus Marshall; one daughter, Emma Marshall; two grandchildren, Mason Marshall and Gracie Mincer; her mother, Louise Shafer; one brother, Craig Shafter and one sister, Brenda Newcomb.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lyle Shafer; father-in-law, Clarence Marshall and brother, Jeff Shafer.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
