~In Loving Memory~
Robert Charles "Bobby" Packwood, 15, a longtime resident of Wenatchee, went home to be with Jesus on Saturday, April 13, 2002, in Central Washington Hospital following a long battle with Muscular Dystrophy.
He was born Aug. 14, 1986 to Charles and Kara (Melcher) Packwood at Wenatchee.
He attended schools in Mississippi, South Dakota and Wenatchee. He was a student at Wenatchee High School at the time of his death.
Bobby participated in the Special Olympics in South Dakota. He was also involved in the Muscular Dystrophy summer camps. He enjoyed playing Nintendo, playing on the computer and watching wrestling. He had an avid love for science and enjoyed drawing.
His illness never slowed him down and he never complained. He always had a big smile and was willing to help others. Bobby attended the Church of the Nazarene.
