Henry Faust, 81, a retired laborer, of 1500 North Main St., died Sunday at 4:30 p.m. at his home. He had been an Edwardsville resident 46 years.
Born March 18, 1880 in Dayton, Tenn., he was the son of the late John and Adell Hughes Faust. On Feb. 18, 1916 in Edwardsville he was married to Adelaide Shepherd, who survives.
Mr. Faust was a member of St. Boniface Catholic church.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. Tuesday at the Straube funeral home where final rites will be conducted Wednesday, 10 a.m. The Rev. Carl Schmidt, assistant pastor of St. Boniface church, will officiate. Interment will be in Woodlawn cemetery.
Pallbearers were William Jurgena, Hugh Head, John Schumacher, Valarius Heidemann, Norman Woods and Charles Reiter.
