Roy Wayne Davenport, Sr., 72, of Springfield, LA, stepped into the presence of the Lord on Sunday, March 23, 2014.
Roy loved to hunt and fish and was a car enthusiast. He also most recently became an avid pool player, playing in many tournaments around the area. He was a loving father, grandfather and friend and he will be missed dearly by all those who knew and loved him.
Visitation will be at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, on Wednesday, Mar. 26, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visitation will resume Thursday, Mar. 27, from 12 p.m. until service at 2 p.m. Burial will be at Killian Chapel Cemetery.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Wayne and Lisa Davenport; daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Scott Wallace; grandchildren, Brandon and Jordan Davenport, Heidi, Shelby and Sydney Wallace; sister-in-law, Liz Davenport; mother of his children, Faye Marie Harper; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends
