She was born May 30, 1907, in Kankakee, the daughter of Vennis G. and Belle Savoie Beedy.
Miss Beedy was a legal secretary for over 50 years for Eva Minor, and then for Minor and Zeglis attorneys.
She attended the University of Illinois and was a graduate of Gallagher Business College.
She was a member of Legal Secretaries, the Kankakee Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Professional and Business Women, the Kankakee Emblem Club, past president of the YWCA and member of the Kappa Delta Sorority of the University of Illinois.
Surviving are two nephews and their spouses, Rev. Dennis and Diane Beedy of Peoria and Vennis and Emlyn June Voges of Manteno; one niece and her spouse, Sandra and Fred Wilson of Manteno.
Two sisters, Venice Voges and True Beedy, and one brother, Henry S. Beedy, are deceased.
